Hello all! Welcome to my inaugural first blog post.

Initially, I was planning on strictly keeping my blog niched as a Parks and Recreation parody account, hence my handle 'dunshirecone'. But, after spending some time on the platform, I've seen some really thoughtful and amazing posts, so I've decided to post various kinds of content.
So who am I? While the whole point of social media is to connect yourself with the world, I feel like I will produce better content when I don't have to filter my thoughts. I wish I could say I didn't care, but I do and that's that. I am sure someone can find out who I am if they dig a little bit, but I'm not that paranoid. Plus, it shouldn't matter who I am.
What may matter is where I come from. I'm a finance and accounting guy, fresh out of the education system. I consider myself open-minded and politically moderate. I am a definite Foodie, so be ready for some Resteems or #FoodPorn posts. Also, #craftbeer, scotch, bourbon, and wine are my favorite ways of keeping my tastebuds entertained. I like coffee so much that it pulses through my veins. I'll listen to any kind of music, from classical to rap to country. I have already resteemed a few music posts, but if I see someone good putting themselves out there, I'll share their talents with you. I have also been known to play some piano and sing, but don't expect me to show you. I like reading, television, movies, and sports.

There's so much in this world that is amazing, there are very few things I don't like. So you'll be sure to see good posts from all sorts of genres if you follow me.

No. People suck on the daily. From being crappy drivers, to being arrogant pricks in general. I just thought I'd give you some background on what you might find on my blog and resteems. Oh, and for what it's worth, I pride myself in occasionally coming up with really witty responses to others' posts and comments. I probably only amuse myself with them, but be on the lookout for my replies.
