I decided to run a little experiment on SteemBotTracker.com to see if you could make money through a voting bot.

I placed $25 with voting bot rocky1@rocky1 whose voting power was roughly $900.
But the amount of money that was put into the bot by a group of us was only $600.

That's supposed to mean you actually get an Upvote worth more money than you actually put in, through SteemBotTracker you can look these numbers up.

Instead, I got an upvote worth about $14.
Since I had bought 4% of rocky1's up vote out of the group, I ran the numbers.

I only got 4% of an upvote worth $350!
The upvote was supposed to be worth $900!!
At the very least it should be worth the $600 he group put in so where did all the money go???

Would love some clarity on this issue from an expert like dpl@dpl because I don't want to spread wrong info.
