I guess my relationships could affect the teaching, but everyone brings some kind of baggage into the profession. I talk about how much fun our neighborhood is in Brooklyn and stress the importance of being able to solve problems to make better choices. I'll consider it a win if even half my kids are better problem solvers because of me.

Kind of scary, isn't it?

It is weird for sure. It has occupied the space where atand up comedy used to be in my life. I used to watch stand up specials with my ex wives and then we'd chat about whatever topics they brought up in their sets. Now each little TikTok or Instagram story is like its own bit, ready for discussion and looking for a reaction. It is definitely a bit of a change, but I can get with the times!
