I'm glad I took the time to slow down and read this one. These are the articles I love to read. It challenges me to be the better version of myself, because if not now, when?!

The schooling system is only designed to get people to a basic level before they need to get specific industry experience, but they can't get that experience because companies are profit-driven and will replace as many roles as possible with automated processes.

Here in America, they have purposefully kept people dumb in the South for generations, so they continue to vote against their best interests. Mindless consumers willing to sacrifice themselves for the ruling class for a chance to suckle at the tit.

The public education system is a very sad state of affairs, especially in the have vs. have-not districts carving up neighborhood across the country. Don't even get me started on charter schools... basically a necessary evil if you want to get anything done or funded through school board red tape! It is a nightmare. Very glad not to have kids of my own when I think about where things are headed!

The wealth gaps are widening, as are the social gaps, the health gaps, the emotional gaps and wellbeing in total. For now, some people are improving, but even they will get to a point where they will struggle to live in a society that is collapsing.

It is sad to think we are merely surviving instead of thriving. I like to think to myself I live in one of the great cities of the world. Of course, I can't afford to live like a king, but I still do pretty well to go out to the nightclubs weekly and catch a musical every so often. We have access to some of the world's best museums and art collections. We have live athletics and live music. Great culinary kitchens and restaurants to choose from. Maybe things aren't as comfortable as I'd like, but I gotta say I feel more like a thrive than a survive, even while the world collapses around me into Fascism and WWIII. Might as well have fun while it lasts!
