I took I nice shot of Sun Halo the other day. This optical phenomenon is produced by light interacting with ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere. It can be found "around" sun and the Moon. Halos can take many forms, from colored or white rings to arcs and spots in the sky. Considering the quality of my camera, this is really a good one!
