. This tower is one of the many that reached for the skies in the heart of London in recent years. I've noticed a tendency to build higher in this city in recent times. Many of the towers that were put up in the last 5-10 years seem to be about twice the hight of the older towers around them.
. I'm not sure why. Is it advancement in technology? Is it a relaxation of some previous building regulation? Are we running out of space in the city and this is an attempt to maximise the space? Who knows.
