Cavs made a whole mess of trades before the deadline, and looked like a completely different squad on Sunday against the Celtics.
Raptors currently atop the eastern conference, and the Celtics are only a half game back. Cavs are 6 out, and with only 20 or so games left in the season it will be difficult to make up that difference. But, it does seem like the Cavs are back in the race (for now).
Meanwhile, the west is still all about the Warriors, with our likely hopes of knocking them off being in Houston. As a spurs fan, I'm super bummed about Kawhi's injury. Ah, what could've been if Zaza hadn't stepped under Leonard's shooting halo. Remember, Kawhi was giving the warriors the BUSINESS last season, and the warriors had no answer until he went down. Now there's a very real chance Pop and Co might just shut Kawhi down for the season, which would be a drag.
I guess I'm just ranting, cause I REALLY don't wanna see another Warriors-Cavs finals matchup.
