I love too much.
Care more than I should.
Too deep, I know.
That is the way, the way I dream.
So, just for the day, I'll be Irish and dream that I wake up and
That your hand is still in mine.
And that you still love me, you love me, you love me
Still the same
This was taken a few years back when I was hiking a trail at Great Falls Park, which always surprised people that there is a 880 acre park 15 miles from the Nation's Capital. History and nature, along with the rogue little clover, looking for the sun. The shadow was quite by accident, I didn't spot it until I was looking through the lens. I know I have posted the picture before, but, it's Saint Patrick's Day! So sidle up to the fallen tree and let's have a Guiness!
Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit! Quite literally, Happy Saint Patrick's Day to you in the native tongue... and here is how you can try pronouncing it! Law leh Paw-drig suna ghit. All together now!!!
Give me the greens! It is Saint Patrick's Day! It truly is all about the green today, isn't it? So very eclectic and true, is this post, containing green and words to go by. So, tell the truth! Will you be doing corned beef and cabbage today? Sprinkled with potatoes and carrots? Growing up, we did ham and sometimes corned beef, but honestly in Ireland, it was all aobut the ham and we bastardized the tradition when it came to our shores. So what's on the menu for Saint Patrick's Day?
I planted these clover in my garden a couple of years ago. They are really called oxalis - a pretty little flowering plant in the wood-sorrel family. They are also in purple, but don't look nearly as dainty as these. May your day be touched by some Irish luck!!
Perhaps a beautiful flower? There is always a flower to color my world. How can I refute what my heart desires? #alwaysaflower
May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
May there always be work for your hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine warm on your windowpane,
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you,
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
True fact! Ireland is not the largest consumer of Guiness beer! That honor belongs to the Brits, and unbelievabley, second place goes to the #Nigerians! Only in third place will you find Ireland! Who knew?
May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
Here's to a fellow who smiles
When life runs along like a song.
And here's to the lad who can smile
When everything goes dead wrong.
May the Good Lord take a liking to you ... but not too soon!*
