After three weeks of being an active user in steemit, I think this is an amazing project and it's going to continue growing up and getting better, but in order to do it these are some the functionalities I miss in the web/app Steemit and I think will make it still much better/usable:
Missing functionalities (web & app)
- Groups. I know there are many detractors of having groups in Steemit but I do think it's a nice way of communication and it may help the searching process as sometimes I feel I do not look for information, but information comes to me in a non structured way
- Private messages. I still miss sending someone a private question if I want to digg into some topic or just say hi.

- Schedule. I know you can use external webs and services to schedule, as streemit.com, but it's something will be very nice to have inside as well. Why is it possible to schedule in the app (although the time I tried it failed) and not the web?
- Edit. There nothing I need more than an easy way to edit content in the web, without the need to enter into any other web or use an infinite number of combination of /*&%$#?¡¿¡
- Post subscription. It'd be nice to get notifications to any post I upvote or comment (specially when I comment) to see the next comments
- Notifications. This could be part of the last one, and many other features as get notifications of replies, mentions (why do we add
@names if they don't get notified),...
Missing functionalities (app)
(note: I've tested only the android app)
- Search. I'd like to be able to search by text, not only by tags and customers. Sometimes not everyone is taggeting correctly or the key words you use are not the main topic of the 5 allowed tags.
- Auto save: It's not the first time I was writting a mini bible in my phone app, and something came up, I went to another thing and when I came back the app restarted and I lost everything, or I just cliked "back" too many times (actually just one more than needed :-D) and I again lost everything.
I see Steemit as a substitute of facebook, linkedin, twitter and instagram, so in order to do that it should have some more functionalities to make it possible.
Do you miss any other functionality?
