Thank you for taking the time to keep me up to speed in an overall view what it is going on behind the scenes of respectable influencers who have been having a lot of disagreement and strive about how the structure should award in this social media platform.

(Btw, not so long ago I read an article published by someone at the top of the foodchain in which was stated that was never meant to be a social platform, it was supposed to be a business platform 🙄)

Actually, you are right, it was said to be that, but that's just half of it. The thing is the uniqueness of this blockchain (unfortunately now more of a centralised collective database for speed and stability, apparently, but still has a blockchain backbone) is it is built by the people with collective ideas, interaction and growth (support)

Like it or not, like what you just told me, however they are rewarding, like it or not there will be a way to stabilize it.

And the people's voice like what @jackmiller has been convincing @dreemsteem will eventually be there; perhaps in a blessing in disguise, this strive will finally unite small voices together and take the first step and make a difference.

Because as I read through the comments and the demographics I am currently building for #teammalaysia is right:

Many content creators are here hoping to make ends meet.

And I am less concern on how the rewards are making because somehow, communities are uniting and resilient to control

Imagine if steem dies, the whole community with that strength can make any blockchain backing social media powerful.

I personally know that. You can ask @awakentolife , @elizacheng and @ackhoo . We came from another similar platform which died because it has no outlet plan , is centralised control and drama was everywhere. Ask them about TSU.

But

My more concern, which I shared in my second post about The Death of Steemit or Any Crypto Social Media Platform – Are We Killing Our Golden Goose with an Unbalanced Ecosystem? is how we are going to make full use of the liquidated cryptos at our hands?

Let's be real. We can't stake it forever.

Unless the whole experience is just building the human connection, which is great.

But you have pointed it out, it was meant for commerce.

Just like BTC, Steem founders had a dream that it will be like BTC, mass adoption, away from the crutches of fiat power (govern by super powers), but BUILT ON human experience (proof of Brain), not some fields and fields of mining machines doing algorithm calculation.

And when it first came out, I had my first account @craftsofluv , strictly for commercial purpose.
(and for a short time I lost my master key... haha... I digress!)

But when this started to build I realised, to be able to have that original Steem dream to come true, the Proof of Brain has to first work because THAT adds the first value of the crypto itself.

And now the whole place, although a little topsy turvy as I am noticing, is building and ripening with SCOT platforms while Steem continues to support as a backbone.

Then, comes the challenge.

We are stuck at this phase.

We still need to build it stronger. Which is where all the communities (and leaders and community whales and dolphins) are working together.

But there is no outlet to make STEEM more valuable and sustainable

And that is where I made my second post which I will be very grateful if you can take some time to read it and allow me to hear some of your thoughts.

Currently, I am going to go back to my ground level my local community, the beloved #teammalaysia and look for like minded members who have read my posts and felt that there could be a way to introduce the missing piece of the puzzle (read my second post) while we let you, the inflencers continue to find a middle ground to keep building the community of great content creators and fight greedy spammers and rotten investors (so to speak)

One can't do everything, and I personally believe, every piece is crucial, just like every Steemian plays an important part to work together.
