I don't think Minds even runs through the entire Ethereum blockchain. The Minds tokens are ERC-20, but they are all distributed to the users as "Off-Chain". You have to pay the gas fees to send them On-Chain, and in that way they act as an on-boarding mechanism for ETH I guess. There is no performance penalty that's at all noticeable on Minds though.

I wasn't aware that ETH was congested though. I personally own ETH, but I haven't sent it to any addresses outside of my trading platform. I'm kind of big on ETH because it's got so many developers and users, but I haven't ever used it to do anything it's just an investment. Also pretty big on Cardano/ADA which is from a key ETH designer.
