You may be right about the localization.
The Amiga was well-before my time as my introduction to computers was an NEC running Windows 95, but I wish to own an Amiga. I've considered buying one of the "modern" ones, but they aren't cheap. The capabilities of the Amiga were so far ahead of everything else, kind of like BeOS & the BeBox.

And that's definitely a worthy project to donate to. I'd probably choose Kdenlive.
The difference with Mixbus is each track has their "analogue DSP" processing, EQ, compressors, summer, and panning that emulates a physical Harrison console. I think I also remember Mixbus being unable to detect a bunch of my plug-ins which is a big drawback.
A lot of people who do traditional recording seem to love Reaper too.
