Can I recommend ditching acetaminophen for natural anti-inflammatory like turmeric?
Honestly, when it comes to the cabinet painkillers I generally prefer ibuprofen over acetaminophen. But you definitely need to eat when taking ibuprofen. Also I used to take 2 Motrin/Advil at a time, and now IF I do go that route I take only one.
That sort of injury is always like shooting in the dark for me.
I was a skateboarder in my youth, and I once injured my "ankle"? It's really the wrist of my foot. I had to wear a soft cast for a while, and after that I would want to skateboard and re-injure it.
I would recommend a full range of motion while you have the weight off of it in order to strengthen the tendons and make the nerve endings fire for proper healing.
Basically exercising it without the weight on it.
