I renounced voting after the first term of the Obama administration, and watched him behave in ways that would make both George Bush Senior and Junior proud.
But in 2015 I somehow got fooled into believing the possibility that a Billionaire pop-culture icon,Reality-TV star, and World Wrestling Personality was an outsider.

It was pretty convincing the way Republicans/Democrats, the media, and everything mainstream was dead-set against him. Also there was the fact that the wicked witch of the west was calling for war with Russia, and was the popular alternative.

Today, I see that he's just what they call a "heel" in wrestling. He's the bad guy you love to hate, and some people just love. Voting is a mechanism of control in my view. But you're right too, it is about giving consent as well.
