My father also works on vehicles, it's an admirable quality to have in a man. Today, where I live, most people cannot work on their own vehicles and must rely on the skills and honesty of mechanics. It's very costly to take a car to someone to have it worked on. Learning how engines work as a child was important for me because I realized that you can use logic to solve problems with your head and hands rather than simply saying "I don't know anything about this."
