This is indeed very interesting. A biography of President Buhari has been written by an American author, the book has already been published and it is set to be presented to the public on October 3 in Abuja.
Here are some very interesting facts about the book:
The book is titled: “Muhammadu Buhari: The Challenge of Leadership in Nigeria” it is written by John Paden, a Professor of International Studies who has deep knowledge of Nigeria and its leaders.
It is set to be presented at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, and President Buhari himself expected to be in attendance at this event on October 3.
John Paden is a professor of public and international affairs and international studies at George Mason University. He received his B.A. in philosophy from Occidental College, his M.A. in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and his Ph.D. in politics from Harvard University.
He has served as director of African studies at Northwestern university, Professor of public administration at Ahmadu Bello university in Zaria, Nigeria, and Dean, faculty of social and management sciences, at Bayero university in Kano, Nigeria.

Interestingly, it was revealed that Mr Paden is well known to president Buhari. According to Premium Times, they have a relationship going as far back as thirty years which made it easy for him to have access to the president to gather inputs for the book.
“The president gave him unfettered access and has had long interviews. He really encouraged him by giving him audience,” a source said.
Mr Paden has also authored several books, including:
Ahmadu Bello: Sardauna of Sokoto, a biography of the late Premier of the North with emphasis on “Values and Leadership in Nigeria” which he wrote in 1986.
Postelection Conflict Management in Nigeria: The Challenge of National Unity, Faith and Politics.
Nigeria as a Pivotal State in the Muslim World and Muslim Civic Cultures.
Conflict Resolution: The Challenges of Democratic Federalism in Nigeria.
Religion and Political Culture in Kano (winner of the Herskovits Prize).
The African Experience (four volumes)
Black Africa: A Comparative Handbook.
Understanding Black Africa: Data and Analysis of Social Change and Nation Building.
He also has some other books and articles.
The Professor is also currently carrying out a research on relations between Muslim sub-cultures in Nigeria. He has also developed a Mason partnership with Usman Danfodiyo University in Sokoto, focusing on conflict resolution, with a focus on inter-faith dialogue.

Also, another book is coming up about Buhari and this is titled: Buhari: A new beginning. It is written or in case it is a photo album, we can say it is compiled instead by Bayo Omoboriowo, President Buhari's official photographer.
He posted a picture of the book on his personal Instagram page, with the following caption: "You really want to get this book coming to you shortly!"
