Income on the Steem blockchain is generated by "investment" (the more currency you have, the more you earn) and by "work" (earning currency by contributing content that adds value). All my crypto holdings are in the STEEM currency. Now I'm working to earn more, by uploading unique valuable content to the blockchain.

In the past week, I donated a bunch of STEEM to [MAP], invested in a new Steem currency called Peace Tokens, and bought some other tokens I like the look of. Also, my 3Speak income disappeared, and I've declined to renew my membership for the time being. All told, it means my growth appears very minimal this week. It should be more reasonable again next week.
Note: As mentioned before, MediKatie and I are phasing out use of all our team accounts except GirlsofGreen. Another was dropped from the tally this week, and the last 2 will be dropped in each of the next 2 weeks. They have almost no SP and are barely noticed anyway.
Growth for this independent vlogger/journalist/activist/photographer/writer has been slow over the 2+ years I've been putting in fulltime effort on Steem. Everything here is about that almighty upvote. We don't grow through gifts, and Steem can't be mined, and there's really no other way except upvotes to get paid here. Sure, tokens are beginning to become a small factor for some, and will likely continue to expand going forward, but those are also driven by upvotes. It's upvotes which make the Steem world go around. Anyone saying otherwise is lying to you to hide their agenda.
I'm not saying it's all about they money. If it was, I wouldn't be here! I've worked for free, and lost everything I invested here, so it's not about that. What I'm saying is that growth relies on upvotes. It can't be done without them.
In other words, I couldn't be growing if it wasn't for you. So, THANK YOU!

These are the people who have voted on most of my posts, consistently for the past 6 months. Aside from my wife and a couple other accounts, I don't know those people, and don't follow them. They aren't bots, they aren't part of a curation trail, they aren't people I have secret agreements with, they don't have a lot of SP, they aren't part of a "community" or "tribe" with me, I didn't delegate to them to vote for me, and they didn't vote for me for guaranteed max curation returns. They're just regular Steem users who dish out votes often. That's the way Steem was supposed to work - real people genuinely and manually voting on content they believe deserved it. Discovery of high-quality original content, not the mess HF21 has made things into, which further neglects good content in favour of profitable content.
So, thank you to these people, who I guess I can call my Steem supporters, even though I don't know them! For helping me spread my message of Liberty, and organically grow my channel here, I'm sending you each a Peace Token.
