Many sellers claim 35% when it's 10%. Very little real cannabis is over 20%. Above 30% and you're looking at hash, not bud...
Generally it's a complete lie. Lab test that and it's probably not over 10%.
As for the smell, it's artificially scented after drying, which accounts for the harsh smoke.
