Things there sound very similar to here, which is amazing, given the distance between us, and the differences in our cultures and economies. Yet, the Covid restrictions all seem very similar, and created at the same time all around the world, like there is a plan, or excellent coordination between countries.
We did not see those alcohol or cigarette restrictions, that's interesting. Strange how they justify it (to reduce car crashes and sharing of cigs).
We also had some people depending on government, and some people starting home businesses.
45% injected? That's rising, unfortunately :( But I suppose people are (or were) afraid of omicron? Now that's fading away, I hope that's the end of people taking these horrible shots. Clearly if you survived the pandemic at under half "vaccinated", that's a good strategy. Other countries at 90% are having major problems, so the injection is clearly not the solution.
What's the level of injection of children? Here it's much less than 50% (even with 90% of adults injected). I imagine it's even less than 25% of children there, if you're only up to 45% of adults now.
I didn't know you were still in "state of emergency" there. They had to cancel it here during 2021 due to legal challenges. But most people assume we're still in state of emergency, they don't know it was quietly taken off.
It's interesting to hear people's personal reactions. A lot is the same as here. The differences are useful and teach me something. Thanks!
