Curing is all about drying as slowly as possible without getting mold. Like @jonyoudyer points out, don't blow right on your bud with a fan, but do have some gentle airflow in the area. Stagnant air can cause mold. But direct fans dry it out too quickly, killing the beneficial bacteria which are curing your bud. Move to jars as soon as possible without there being excess moisture (like fog inside the glass). And continue to dry slowly in the jars. The drying process and the curing process are kind of separate, but pretty much done at the same time. Because once the bud is dry (or down to like 10% moisture or so) it stops curing. It's an art form, but you're an artist, so you'll do great I'm sure.
