I like the land there, and a lot of the history is interesting, and I had pioneer ancestors who settled Southern Ontario (what Canadian didn't?). But I've never really liked the modern day politics over there, and maybe I don't really like the modern day culture there, either. It's kinda stuffy, if I'm overgeneralizing. Still, I'd love to road trip through there, check out some places my family members owned, lived, and farmed. Maybe some graves.
Canada is messed up though. We don't have our country if our Charter is in tatters like it is. We're up for grabs and very unstable at the moment. The election should be interesting, as elections go.
