That reaction (water and carbon dioxide and light makes sugar and oxygen) is one of Nature's finest achievements. I don't claim to know what/who invented it, but almost all life on this planet depends on it. All I can do is try to understand it as well as my meaty little brain allows, and appreciate its wonder :)
