We had a sudden flash rainstorm yesterday, which has cooled things off and given the firefighters a chance to begin to control the massive fire. They've kept it from hitting the outskirts of town so far. This week is going to be dry, and each day hotter than the last, so hopefully that bit of rain was enough to save our butts!
