I'll just say that I've come to accept that something along these lines may be true. What's interesting to me is... am I the only consciousness and everybody and everything else is just in my simulation? Or are we all sharing a simulation and experiencing it from our own perspectives?
There's a certain relief in the idea that "this isn't real". Not because it means nothing matters. On the contrary, I believe it means things matter even more than we ever knew.
