Okay, gotcha.... I was just wondering if there was something specific you were counting down towards. I'm fairly sure you can do 1, 2, and 3 on days other than 4/20/2021 :P
Me? Not really. I moved out of Vancouver to a small town, which is great because I left just before the pandemic and ensuing nonsense. But it sucks that I'm so far from any major street activism. I can smoke weed any day, but doing so while blocking off the entire downtown city core with 50,000 of your closest stoner friends is something special! Of course, it was cancelled this year because of the pandemic, so I didn't miss anything by being away. I assume it will be back on for 2021.
My wife and I came up with a stoner holiday called BC Bud Day over 10 years ago, and started celebrating it (like other 'protestivals') with others in 2016. 2020 was the 5th annual, and MediKatie and I didn't make the journey to attend, due to having a new baby. ALso, the pandemic had caused 4/20, Cannabis Day, and the Global Marijuana March to be cancelled for the first time in decades, so we assumed BC Bud Day was off. Amazingly, people showed up and held the event without us! We were sad to miss the fun, but very happy that it has snowballed to the point where we can miss a year, and it still happens. So for 2021, it's August 2nd (BC Bud Day) that I'm most looking forward to.
