True that. My wife is crippled and I was taking care of her for years, when I myself fell chronically ill. I can't do most jobs, but I'm trying to earn a living at content-creation. Unfortunately I've gone from $5000 initial investment, down to a value of $1750 currently, after about 3 years and 5000 hours of work. Hopefully it turns around because I'd love to pay the bills with my writing, photography, videography, activism, and so on. And who knows, maybe afford some kind of cheap vacation? For now, we can barely pay the bills. We're trying to improve our health but with high stress and limited funds for nutrition and meds, it's hard. The lockdown has been rough because our already limited options got even more limited, and food costs have skyrocketed. Neither of us are allowed to drive, and we don't have family or friends that will help us (due to their dislike of our activism and not going to church). So we limp to whatever shop we can reach from our place, and bring back as much as we can afford/carry. I write about our struggles but almost nobody reads it.
But I don't want to bring down your fun, and I honestly hope you have a great time! I'll enjoy your photos :D
