I was interested to read that you had silver earrings as a baby. Silver is a special metal for many reasons, and one is that illness and infection cannot grow on silver. Our money used to be silver here in Canada, and also there in Venezuela. Maybe some day you could ask your abuela about the coins of her childhood?
