What will determine who gets frozen, I wonder? Anyone who personally got in Sun's way, I assume, but who else? Some sweeping algorithmic decision perhaps, anyone who downvoted one of his posts AND did not vote for any of his witnesses?

I lost everything in the 98% down move from $8 to 12c (went all from BTC in early 2018). Man, I wish I had that BTC back, and 3 years of full-time posting/comments/curation!

But I ended up with a few thousand STEEM, instead. I lucked out at the fork - claimed my HIVE, while also powering down some STEEM and moving it over at the right time. Now I've got, what, 6200 HIVE or so, and like 1000 STEEM left. I'm not cyber-destitute, but it sure doesn't feel like much in return for all the time, effort, expertise, original content, risk, opportunity cost, and more that was required. I've literally paid thousands of dollars per year to work full time for somebody else. Damn.

That said, I have hopes that things will turn around soon, perhaps with the coming crypto bull run.

And I've reached a few people here, which is my main goal, so at least there's that.
