Thanks for teaching your dog only to kill rats! Rats are horrible animals to mix with humans, so to remove them from our farms and houses is the right thing to do. They compete with us for the food, so they are the enemy! Just like the bugs that destroy our plants, and we must kill them.
But I appreciate you ensuring your dog doesn't destroy all the animals and wildlife : )
It looks like a good harvest for topochos this season. I'm sure much was lost to drought and also thieves, but I'm happy you appear to have at least some fruit to eat this week.
