Do prisons really only charge 30k per year to house an inmate? I realize you get better care in hospital than in jail, but doesn't it cost more than 30k to house a patient for a single week? Hard to imagine that prison is more than 50 times cheaper.
But yeah, this guy and millions of other peaceful drug users need to be released from prison. Let those good people try and heal!
