After hundreds of millions of years of slow evolution, the tree (including acacia) succeeded in raising its tender shoots far off the ground, where most animals can't reach them. These trees here must feel so defeated, with goats climbing right up to the top, to take their most precious shoots. Out-evolved by the goat.
