Wow, that thing would seriously mess a person up.
Once it got a hold of you, say your hand, your arm is next (and soon). I think you could only save yourself by fiercely yanking your meat/bones right out of the gears. It would be messy.
Could you imagine some nasty cartel or something getting their hands on this thing? Actually, it has probably already happened. I'm going to stop imagining things now.
