Sort of looks like it's still vegging, while also trying to flower. The balls are small, but I don't see any pistils, so I'm still thinking male.
Don't take him out yet, though. The pollen sacs will be very noticeable for at least a couple days before they burst. Taking him out too soon will probably mean the pollen sacs won't mature.
