The term "influencer", itself, is interesting.
I've been doing what most would consider "influencing" on social media for over a decade. YouTube, then FaceBook, Steem, and other sites. I've reached millions thus far with my messages. But I only ever heard that term about 6 months ago. And suddenly everybody's using it, as though we wanted to talk about this topic for a long time, but just didn't have the right word to make it happen.
