Calculating how much Steem would send the progress bar up by 1% was a nice touch. Thanks to you, I think we'll be nearing the 10% mark for the first time when the numbers are crunched tomorrow.

As you've noted, even though Edgar posts regularly, he doesn't often directly mention his personal plight. I've had to piece together his story over several posts and comments, and since I only speak a little Spanish, not everything comes across perfectly. It is clear though that his family could really use access to clean water on a regular basis, which they had until his late father's old pump finally gave out. To me, it seemed like the perfect chance to do something concrete and real, something attainable yet big, using the Steem blockchain to improve lives.
