Reopening, not reopening, reclosing for the second wave, it's all happening at once. In Canada (as much of the West) there's no national plan, as there is in places like Sweden, which barely had a lockdown and opted for natural mass immunity. Their economy is fine, their health care system survived the assault, and they're on the mend. Here, we have inflated numbers, fearmongering in the media, flipflopping policies, and a public torn in half. More fear ahead of the second wave means they intend to bring about even stricter measures as soon as the manipulated numbers justify it.
