Because she was so rootbound, I decided to experiment with loosening the roots under cool flowing water. I've done this with tomatoes but not cannabis, so we'll see how it goes.
I've cleaned the roots of dead cannabis plants before, but never live ones like these! I was careful not to break them, but got rid of most of the bits of mulch they were clinging to.
Buried gently and filled in snugly. She looks a bit traumatized (leaves curling downward). In 24-48 hours we'll know her fate. Hopefully she perks up, takes to the transplant, and makes some flowers!
2 of the MK Ultra plants didn't make it this far, and the remaining 3 still haven't shown their sex.
2 of the Steem OG plants are female (the huge S3 and the tiny S2), 2 are male (S4 and S5), and S1 remains unknown.
