NextColony Soundtrack Live Performance: Shipyard Overtime

I’m almost done with the second track for the NextColony soundtrack, but I’ve gone seriously down the wormhole (see what I did there?) and am fussing endlessly trying to capture the tension of the newly implemented battle system. Meanwhile ingame I have an armada of explorers scouring the galaxy for new planets. The game’s simple but extremely well thought out mechanics continue to tickle my urge to reset skill timers and explore the unexplored cosmos. I only hope to do it justice with my jams. Compulsive Dapps like these are a major value add to the Steem ecosystem and I’m stoked to be a part of it in some small manner.

This video, in turn, is my performance of last week’s soundtrack piece that I captured as I committed it to tape via modular. I’m feeding classical guitar samples in, letting oscillators percolate, tweaking filters and generally being the best Drumoperator I can be.
