We all will get to that point in our life when we'll decide what exactly we want
Entertainment, inspiration, motivation, or spiritual growth.
Until we make that decision, we aren't ready to really live the life we have received in Christ Jesus. And when that decision is made, it will show in our appreciation of spiritual things.
We will never again be satisfied with:
You can make it.
You can be different.
The top is made for you.
This week is your week.
Your Haman must die.
Anyone seating on your glory will roast.
No, never again. It would be very obvious that such things can only weaken us in our quest to living the life.
We have seen that rather than going about seeking solutions, we can be taught to also take our stand and wield authority and power.
At that point, being taught the knowledge of the word has become a higher priority than being given a word of knowledge.
We no longer go to church looking for "prophetic declarations", which in many circles are just psychological stunts.
No, now we have seen that that's not how to grow.
At that point, the fine music, air-conditioned hall, charisma of the pastor, etc, isn't what determines where we go. We now seek a place where we can be taught the revelation of Christ Jesus and our identification with Him, and where prayer is given utmost priority. Where these two are, and there's yet fine music, air-conditioned hall, and charisma, is a good place. Where these are, and it be under a tree, and in an old school class room, is as good a place as any.
1hour praise, 30minutes word?
That no longer catches our fancy.
We are no longer looking for prophetic words up and down.
We rather want to be taught, that sure word of prophecy.
This is where we can no longer be manipulated, either psychological, or in the "name of Jesus".
This decision
is one that we must make on time.
It is time to decide for Jesus. It is time to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Have a God-filled Sunday.
