Xiaomi smart home kit is a collection of smart sensor driven tools.Main components of kit are —
- A gateway or central hub- it controls all sub devices mentioned below . it has to be configurred with Mi home app in your mobile. It has inbuilt LED which lights up automatically once you entrer home. Also you will be able listen internet radio.
- Smart wall plug.
- Door and window sensor- These are motion sensors which send notification to user on detecting motion near door or window .
- Motion sensor- it detects motion within 1.5 meter after being confused with gateway. It can be used to control lights (on/off). It detects motion in rooms and turns on lights once you pass nearby.
- Temperature and humidity sensor-detects temp and humidity in room.
- Wireless switch- as the name suggests it can be used to turn on/off configured lights and also wifi devices .
