Decentraland is an awesome decentralized virtual world that I started exploring a few weeks ago. The concept is pretty amazing if you ask me.. a decentralized and censorship resistant platform where anyone can buy land and build on it or explore the world that others have created. Unfortunately the cost to entry is pretty high, usually around a few hundred dollars for a small plot. However, if the platform really takes off and more users enter the world, the land will no doubt appreciate in value. I think it's a really cool concept and there is already some content happening such as multiple museums and art features, a few basic games and some neat architecture. I'm sure there will be more and more awesome content as time goes on. So, why not check it out? It's totally free to hop in the game and start to explore.
