I am thinking the issue more from a human behavioral perspective, instead of the economic one. The proposal would be "why not make voting based anonymity within the 7-day window?" As in the academic field, the peer review system was gradually established to avoid the intended or unintended "reputation" corruption. I think Hive and other similar BSN suffers from the same issue. The popularity signal will cause the inflation no matter what you do to the price. That's more of a psychological pattern.
