I'm participating in this contest to honor the cloud for its amazing and essential function of shielding us from the sun's strong heat, reflecting and scattering solar radiation, and keeping us warm at night.
I was out for a walk with a friend when I noticed that the sun wasn't shining brightly in the middle of the afternoon and wondered why. I looked up and saw how the clouds had been artfully arranged to provide shade for those of us. It was an act of kindness for me.
