It's not everyday you get a chance to show off your artistic endeavours in this community, so I'm surely not gonna let it pass.
When I saw the questions for this week, my eyes immediately latched onto the artistic weekend concept. And so here I am, with my so called artwork.
Even though I wouldn鈥檛 really call myself an artist, I do enjoy painting and the occasional digital art I do on my pad. I just love colours and everything related to them. So whenever I get free time, I'm either in front of my pad or my working station, painting away like there's no tomorrow.
This particular thing took me two hours to complete. At first, I did want to attach my sorry face in the artwork, but me and human faces were never truely friends, so in the end, I stuck with drawing out my most performed weekend activity, which is, in fact, reading.
I enjoy books tremendously. They are my life and treasure, and reading is something I do almost every day. So the illustration is just about that. A book, a nice cup of tea, and for when it gets chilly, (which is rare for the time being as summer is still going strong... But hey! Fall is coming!) my handly dandy blanket to keep me warm.

I used warm tones to colour the whole thing as it gives it almost a surreal vibe. I also happen to love sunsets so you can call me a bit bias. 馃槄
So that's that I guess. My weekend activity portraying what I do around my weekends. With a couple of pictures of the process, I'll end this dumb post now.
