Well, I may be late on posting for the weekend concept thing, but I still am not late for posting about my tragic weekend experience!

This week I've decided that never again shall I let my mind wander while I'm trudging through classes at uni.

Let me tell you a story. It's not a sad story, per se. But it is a story of great irritation and helplessness, which I've felt just two days ago, if I may add.

Having just read a post here about someone dropping their phone down the toilet and losing access to their digital wallet (which you can read, here), I too was reminded of my own tragedy of losing my real wallet, while attending my classes this weekend.

I, am a very distracted person. Half of the time my brain is always out and about, wandering through useless thoughts and scenarios, completely ignoring the real world around me.

Which honestly is precisely the reason why I lost my wallet in the first place. While dreaming about unicorns and serial killers I lost track of what my hands were doing and I mighy have just dropped the rotten thing somewhere. By the time I realised it was missing, I was half out of my university, on my way home, and the sudden thought of not having a single penny on me made me weak on the knees.

It was a wasted cause, when I attempted to trace back my steps in hopes of finding the thing, because, let's be honest here, half the time I forget the names of the courses I'm studying, so there is no way in hell and heaven that I'd remember something so mundane as to "what I did the whole day beside thinking of sleeping..."

So yeah... That was a sad, sad day of my life.
And I've vowed to, never again, never again, let my mind wander while attending classes, or at least, not before I put my wallet inside my stupid bag, all nice and secured.
