The plan was sudden. A thoughtless decision that took shape in the span of six days, and suddenly, I was no longer sitting in my bedroom looking at pictures of nice beautiful places, and instead I was on a bus, that was going 65 km an hour, taking me to someplace beautiful and serene.

I have never travelled alone. The highest I've ever been was to one of my relatives house in Noakhali, and that, in no way can be counted as travelling for pleasure.

It was always sort of a distant dream from faraway lands, about a trip on a desert highway, a ride with the people I truly care for. So, even now, as I zoom across the road, I am yet to digest it all. I am not sure when the realization will finally set in; maybe it will once I am infront of the ocean.

So for now, I will just sit back, look out, and for a change shoot by the stars instead, and, enjoy the ride.

The night is long.
The bus is quiet.
It's me, my people, and the road.
So, let's just keep driving.
