On this network, I’d prefer to go by 60driver rather than by an actual name and, due to training I’ve been through, I would rather not post any pictures of myself or my family for security reasons... I will, however, still post various pictures in the future, just none of my face.
This is obviously my first post to my SteemIt blog, however, I joined about a week ago, just haven’t had the time to create an introduction due to working several jobs across an entire state.
I think I will start with the handful of questions that I have for the SteemIt community (just in case you only read this far.... haha!), before I go into a little bit about myself.
First, although I have read several articles and watched several videos, I’m still unsure of exactly how this whole thing works?
If I’m not mistaken, the community pays for creating new content (aka posts) and for up voting other people’s content?
What exactly can I post about? I have lots of different interests, so can I have a blog that spans multiple subjects?
Is there a daily post limit? If so, what is it?
Lastly, who here likes dad jokes? I’m a sucker for a good dad joke.
Now, on to a little bit about myself:
I am a family man, married, one kid with another one on the way (I will be making my profile picture our baby announcement picture just FYI). I work 3 jobs, two full time and Uber on top of those. One job is just to pay the bills, manufacuring in the green energy field and it is the worst job I have ever had...
The second job, however, is my passion! Aviation! Flying helicopters to be exact. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had!
Aviation is my main interest in life. I currently hold 6 different ratings, all in helicopters, however, once I’m able to get out of the 9-5 lifestyle, I plan on trying to own my own plane and helicopter to cruise around in.
I have recently developed an extreme interest in cryptocurrencies, hence my joining of this community. I am looking to begin trading here in the near future to build my portfolio and get out of the 9-5 life. Currently, my only source of crypto income comes from various faucets, many of which, I may do reviews on.
