Seven years back, on 16th december 2012, a 23 year old woman named Jyoti singh, she was a physiotherapy intern. She was brutally raped, tortured and beaten up by four men in a moving bus in south delhi.
She was going home with one of her friend and there were 5 more men including the bus driver in the bus. They noticed that the bus was going off route and they shut the doors of the bus. Her. friend objected and he was knocked down by the mens in the bus. The girl was taken to the back seats of the bus and was raped by the four men. She was so so so badly raped. They both were thrown out of the bus and soon she was admitted to safdarjung hospital. She fight for her life but on 29th december she died due to so much injuries. In her statement to the police, she wanted to have justice.
All the victims were beside bars. Among them, the bus driver attempted suicide and after 7 years all the four men were hanged in tihar jail on 20th march 2020.
Her mother was so happy and even the whole nation is quite happy that she got justice.
