I've also never been a fan of the "posts should have a minimum of 300 words" line. It seems to me that some pictures should speak for themselves without bunches of commentary. My standard personally is at least a description of where it was taken, subject matter, something. I could understand downvoting single lone photos, but I've seen them downvote posts just for "not having 300 words." Bleh. Steem collapsed and now it seems Hive might go that direction too.
