Bath Time, Acrylic on Paper, 2015
Way better than yesterday’s post. At least this is a more “normal” subject matter. The room seems gigantic but I like the perspective. The figures are ok. I like my color choices. Other than that, this is just another “meh” to add to the “meh pile”.
Or is it? I love the subject matter. It's an intimate moment, and those are always good subjects for art. Perhaps I should have made it a closer perspective. Maybe I should have had at least one of their faces present. At the time though faces were still difficult. But now after a few years this may be a subject worth tackling again, but more intimately.
I’m posting every painting I have ever done from 2014 to the present, the good, the bad, and the ugly. With an occasional photograph or sketch thrown in just to mix things up. Check back daily to see my progression as an “artist”!
